A note from Principal, Collin Buckley

Since coming the Valley in 2011 as a middle school teacher and high school coach, I’ve been continually impressed and thankful for the support and commitment of this community to our students! This work is truly a partnership with families, students, teachers, support personnel and administration! Our staff takes this trust to heart and strives to help ALL students become critical thinkers who are college, career and citizenship ready when they leave our school! Please check our website and social media platforms for links and updates on important events. Please get involved or offer feedback!

About me: My family is rooted here with my wife Shannon teaching at Nooksack Elementary and both sons attending our schools. I’ve lived in Whatcom County since 1993 and here in the Valley for over three years.  We are an avid outdoors family and can usually be found running, biking, hiking or skiing!  Our other ‘hobby’ is developing spaces for kids and adults to be active locally through the Pioneer Trail Association!
